Vivian MacArthur

Our Nannie returned to her Heavenly Father September 21, 2014. Born September 28, 1924 in Salt Lake City to James A. Bowlden and Virginia Smith Bowlden.
She graduated from East High a year early with a 4.0 average and with perfect attendance. She started her career as a phone operator and retired 45 years later as the Assistant Treasurer of Beneficial Life. Married for 69 years to her high school sweetheart, Grant, they solemnized their marriage in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. Vivian was a wonderful, talented, and generous person who thought only of others. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Grant, their daughter Kathie Jo, and their son Rick, in addition to 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by their son, Michael, her parents, and her two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 26 at the Bountiful 13th Ward, 1356 North 650 East. Viewing will be at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 and at the ward prior to the services from 9:45-10:45.
The family would like to thank the staff of Community Nursing Services for their loving care over the last year.
