Wallace McQuarrie

Wally passed away surround by his loving family, Saturday March 3rd at the age of 89. Dad was a kind man who lived a rich life. He was born in Hyde Park Utah on July 23rd 1923, to Robert S. McQuarrie and Lillie E. Mikkelson. He was the youngest of 7 children. At the age of 19 he joined the Army and served as a MP during WWII, traveling throughout Europe in our county’s service. Dad married the love of his life, LuDean Checketts in 1956 and a few years later they adopted their daughter Loni and two years later their son, Scott. Dad is preceded in death by his wife and daughter. The sadness is only ours; His suffering is over and his broken heart is healed. He is reunited with his loving wife, cherished daughter and his creator. Wally is survived by his son Scott, Scott’s wife Stacey, and grandchildren; Jason, Tyson, Joshua, Chase, Keaton and Taylor. A viewing will be held Saturday March 10th between 10:30 and 11:30am at the Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 295 North Main Street, Bountiful Utah. After which a graveside service will be held at the Bountiful City Cemetery at 12:00.
