Wayne Earl Montgomery

Wayne Earl Montgomery, 69, beloved husband, father, grandpa (papa), brother, and uncle passed away unexpectedly February 26, 2019. He was born on July 23, 1949 to Faunt & Beth (Fowers) Montgomery.

He graduated from Clearfield High in 1967. Wayne worked various jobs before ending his successful career at Hill Air Force Base. Wayne was the proud father of Jerimie Montgomery, which he shared a love of golf with as well as three wonderful grandchildren. 

 Wayne valued hard work and golf, and was fortunate enough to find the same values in Jody Anderson, who became his favorite golf partner and love of his life. They later married on December 9, 2009.  He then gained two loving step-children, Sasha and Conley.   

 Wayne’s most fond memories lie on golf courses across the country with friends and family.  

Preceded in death by his parents, Faunt & Beth Montgomery and brother Clair Montgomery.  Wayne is survived by his sweetheart, Jody (Duncan) Anderson  Montgomery; a son, Jerimie (Rebecca) Montgomery; a brother, Ron (Sue) Montgomery; a step-daughter, Sasha (Jamin) Buttars; a step-son, Conley (Jamie) Anderson; grandchildren, Mequelle (Jacob) Wolfe, Taylr & Cade Montgomery, Asher & Lucy Anderson and Brynna Buttars.

Family, friends, golf buddies and others whose lives Wayne touched are invited to the Russon Brothers Funeral Home, 1941 N. Main St. Farmington, UT on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11 am to celebrate his life.  There will be a viewing the evening before, March 3, 2019 from 6-8 pm.  Interment at West Point Cemetery, 80 N. 4000 W. West Point, UT.
