After attending his 67th high school reunion and fulfilling the desire to live in his own home until the end of his earthly journey, Wendell passed away peacefully at 85 in his Bountiful, Utah home with his wife of 65 years at his side. He was the first surviving son born to Emerett Millar and Samuel Glenn Wiser and was born and raised in Lewiston, UT along with 7 siblings. Wendell graduated from North Cache HS in 1952. He married Priscilla Price in the Logan LDS Temple in 1954 and they had six children. They were fortunate to travel the US and Europe while Wendell served in the US Army (1956-59) and throughout his working life. He retired in 1994 from a life-time career with NCR Corp (later AT&T). Wendell experienced the evolution of computers first-hand and his fascination never waned as evidenced in his home full of computers. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and, with his wife, served a mission in Columbus, Ohio (1997-98). They later served over 15 years as temple workers in the Bountiful Temple, and he served in many church capacities throughout his life.
Wendell is survived by his wife and devoted companion Priscilla of Bountiful, Utah where they resided for 42 years. Also surviving are six children: 4 daughters, Wendelene (Wendy and Kevin) Watts of Houston TX; Susan Rae (Robert) Eaton of Draper; Lucy (David) Bevan of Kaysville; Patricia Ann (Patti and Steven) Williams of Kamas; 2 sons: John Wendell (Liz) Wiser of Bountiful; William Mark (Lisi) Wiser of Hooper; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Farrell (NaDene) Wiser of Centerville; 2 sisters, Cara Lou Vance of Salt Lake City; Maxine Cummings of Orem.
