Dad returned with honor to our Father in Heaven with his wife Trudy and his children at his bedside. Werner was born June 29, 1920, in Leignitz, Germany, to Karl and Paulina Lindner Rosemann. He served in the German Army for six years as an officer. He earned his masters degree in Botany and Forestry which started a lifetime of loving to work in his garden. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1944, where he served in several callings, never wavering in his testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. After his marriage to Trudy Hoffman in 1951, they moved to Edmonton, Canada, where they were sealed in the Cardston temple. In 1960 they made their home in West Bountiful where dad and his children ran Werner’s Flooring for 25 years. Upon retirement, he and Trudy served two genealogical missions in Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Walter, and his grandson, Kade. He is survived by his wife of 57 years; five children: Walter Debie Rosemann, Hans Rosemann, Harold Cathy Rosemann, Barbara Robert Oliekan, and Thomas Micki Rosemann; 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rita Rosemann; nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Germany. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Val Verda 8th Ward, 2651 South 500 West. A viewing will be held Monday evening at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at the Bountiful Cemetery.
