Wesley Earl Gardner (Wes; Wesman by his friends) passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at home with family around him.
Wes was born on Sept. 20, 1937, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Earl T. Gardner and Grace Hiatt Gardner and had six siblings, two of which died in childhood, leaving Wes and four sisters; Dorothy, Darlene, Norma Jean, and Jeanette.
Wes graduated in 1957 from Twin Falls high school and then went into the USAF for four years. He was stationed most of that time in Puerto Rico. Upon discharge, he returned to Twin Falls and married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Wirsching. They had two lovely children, Teri and Michael.
Surviving Wes are his wife, Sharon; daughter Teri (Mike) Davis; Michael (Barbara) Gardner; five grandchildrenTyler, Jamie Thain, Michelle Taylor, Kellie Davis, and Megan; ten adorable and precious great grandchildren, and his sister, Dorothy Gardner.
Everyone loved Wes and his sense of humor! His grandchildren loved his card tricks and jokes. And he loved golf!!!! (After his family)
The family wants to thank Symbii Home and Hospice, the Orchard 4th ward of the LDS church and many friends in Camelot and elsewhere.
Services will be held at Orchard 4th ward, 55 West 350 North, North Salt Lake, UT on April 20 at 11:30 a.m. Short graveside services at Bountiful City Cemetery following services.
