Wesley Watson, Jr

Biography

Wesley William (Bill) Watson Jr passed away peacefully on October 8, 2013 at the age of 84. He was born on November 19, 1928 in Price, Utah to Wesley William Watson and Mary Elizabeth Edmondson. He married his sweetheart Joyce Winegar on April 24, 1954 in West Bountiful the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 19, 1966.
Bill showed us all by his example how to love, work, and support each other. He was committed to loving and supporting his wife, three children, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the time that he was able to work in the Bountiful LDS Temple. He had a passion for University of Utah athletics and held season tickets for football and basketball for many years.
Bill is survived by his wife Joyce; children Wesley Lynn (Susan) Watson, Michael Keith Watson, and Diane (Dan) Alvey. Bill is also survived by his sister Suzanne (George) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert James Watson.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 37th Ward, 1500 North 400 East, Bountiful, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 North Main Street Bountiful. A viewing will also be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church house prior to the services. Burial will be immediately following the funeral service at Bountiful City Cemetery.
