Weston Brown, age 29 passed away peacefully the morning of Dec. 28 in his sleep. Weston was born October 23, 1986 in Bountiful, Utah. He attended Reading Elementary, Farmington Jr. High and Viewmont High School. He was active in sports and played on many Junior Jazz Teams as well as the Farmington Jr. High and Viewmont High School Basketball teams. Weston was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the Texas, McAllen Mission. He was out just a short time when he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. After a long and difficult recovery he was able to return and complete his mission. Weston had a lasting and profound influence on his younger brothers Clayton, Jacob and Joshua who followed in his footsteps of service as each accepted their call to serve missions. His youngest brother Joshua is currently serving in the Salvador South, Brazil mission. Weston was loved by everyone that knew him. He had a contagious personality and was loved by many lifetime friends. Weston was currently attending College at Weber State where he was working to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
Weston is survived by his parents, David and Nadene Brown, his sister Donell (Todd) Jensen, their 3 children Ryker, Kyler and Elayna, his brothers, Clayton, Jacob and Joshua, and his grandparents, Don and Luaina Brown and Irvin and Thelda Laws. He is preceded in death by his cousin Jamie Petersen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Farmington South Stake Center, 695 S. 200 E., Farmington, UT. Family and friends may call Friday evening, January 1 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment at Farmington City Cemetery.
