William “Bill” Clyde Foster passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 61, while being cared for at Woodland Park Care Center in Salt Lake City. His cause of death was due to diabetes.
Bill was born on October 27, 1960, in Salt Lake City as the first of five sons to Richard Daniel Foster and Sharon Kay Miller. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1978.
Bill was a member of the Woodland Hills Ward in the Bountiful Central Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed scouting and was an Eagle Scout.
Most of Bill’s career was spent as a toy buyer for national companies. Two of Bill’s passions were car racing and the Utah Jazz.
Bill is survived by his children, Zachary John Foster (Monica) and Melissa Anne Foster; Grandson, Rory James Marquez; former spouse, Jill Harrison; Parents, Dick and Sharon Foster; his brothers, Dan Foster (Kelly), Rick Foster (Deb), and Bob Foster (Rhonda); and his Sister-in-Law, Teri (Moss) Foster. Bill was recently preceded in death by his youngest brother Scott Miller Foster.
Per Bill’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral services. He will be laid to rest at Heber City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
