William (Bill) Edward Lee Jr.

William (Bill) Edward Lee Jr., 83, of Bountiful Utah, passed away peacefully in his home on March 23, 2022.

Bill is survived by his wife Cheryl of 58 years, sons William C. Lee, Jeffrey Lee, and John Lee, and daughters Becky Crofts, Julie Spencer, Cheryln Gibbs, Amy Barton, and Marci McClellan, 36 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Bill was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 13, 1938. He was very proud to grow up in Rhode Island, spent many hours on the beach and often reflected it was the happiest time of his life.  He loved the ocean.  He served in the Army as a medic, was stationed in both Germany and Lebanon during the 1958 Lebanon Crisis. During his service, he was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was later baptized on June 4, 1960. He served a proselyting mission to the Northwestern states covering Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Bill loved writing, sailing, swimming, baseball, big game hunting, deep-sea fishing, and was a certified scuba diver. He was an entrepreneur and owned a successful heating and air conditioning business for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family while traveling the United States to visit his children.

There will be an evening viewing for friends and family to meet on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful Utah.

Funeral services will be Monday March 28, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 1750 N. 900 W., West Bountiful, Utah.  Prior to the services there will be another viewing from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m.

Bill will be laid to rest at the Elsinore Utah cemetery.
