William Monte Bringhurst

Monte passed peacefully from this life on September 11, 2022. He was born In Pocatello, Idaho, June 13, 1929, to Gilbert Bringhurst and Marguerite Fanny Chandler. He was the 2nd child of 10 children. He was raised by his stepmother, Ruth, who he loved very much. He was sealed to his beloved wife, Grace Marie Johnson March 17, 1950, in the Idaho Falls Temple. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day-Saints. He held many callings and was diligent in his duties. He and Grace worked diligently on family history records. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 44 years. He had a deep love for anything trains.  
Monte is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Rudy) Cardenas, son, Rick Bringhurst and daughter, Linda Miller, daughter-in-law, Joni Bringhurst, 9 grandchildren, 19 greats and 9 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, and son, Dennis Bringhurst. Father, Mother, Step-mother, 4 brothers, Gene, Larry, Lee and Jon. 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Bountiful Ward, 990 Chapel Drive, Bountiful, Utah where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. prior to services.
