William Crosby

Biography

William Thomas Crosby “Pops” passed away August 18, 2012 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Panguitch, UT July 25, 1925 to John Silas and MaryAnn Owens Crosby . He married Dorothy Sandin in Panguitch, UT on February 2, 1947 which was later solemnized in the SLC Temple.
He served his country in the US Navy from 1943-1946 in San Diego and Pearl Harbor. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years and continued his work as a Certified Public Accountant for many years after retiring. He was active in many community projects as well as serving in several positions in the LDS Church.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy and 6 brothers.
He is survived by his brother, Ellis Crosby, Fresno, CA.; three daughters, Deborah Tucker, Bountiful, UT.; Stephanie Malmrose, Woods Cross UT.; Cynthia Weatherbie (Dan), Bountiful UT.; 14 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11 AM at the Bountiful 25th LDS Chapel, 1500 S 600 E, Bountiful, UT, where a viewing will be held 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
As the patriarch and center of our family for decades, he will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11 AM at the Bountiful 25th LDS Chapel, 1500 S 600 E, Bountiful, UT, where a viewing will be held 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
