William J. Barnedt, 83, of Boise, Idaho passed away September 16, 2017 in Layton, Utah surrounded by family.
Bill was born May 8, 1934 in Stevenson, Washington to Datus E. Barnedt and Genevieve (Mckee) Barnedt. He was the second of seven children.

He lived a full life, sharing his passion for hunting, fishing and traveling with his children. Their adventures spanned North America, visiting family and national parks and included more than their fair share of entertaining animal encounters.
He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and an M.P. After leaving the army, he worked as a logger and then fulfilled his childhood dream of hauling new automobiles. After more than 30 years he retired from the trucking industry.
After retiring, he continued his travels with his wife, Dianne, spending their winters in the warmer weather of Arizona and visiting with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the last year of his life, he could often be found bonding with his great-grandsons over their shared love of cars.
