William T. “Bill”, “Billy” Marsee, 70 passed away surrounded by family on Thursday July 17th, 2024. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Marsee and Barbara Jean Pihl. In Philly, Bill worked as a Houseparent RA at Girard College for nearly forty years. In his time at Girard, Bill helped hundreds of students in their education, made lifelong friends, and was a beloved member of the Girard College community. Billy was an incredibly funny, comedic, and entertaining man with a love for film noir, Marvin the Martian, and anything and everything Frankenstein.

If you had the privilege of knowing Bill, you knew him as a lovable, friendly, and funny man who would never fail to make you laugh with his stories and humor. He is survived by his sisters Kathy Piper (née Marsee), Nancy Gayle Marsee, Betsy Candia (née Marsee) and brother Robert Marsee as well as his Girard family Lisa Rivers, Kymelle Clark, and Quanda Robinson.
