William Stephen Hart

September 8, 1919 — April 9, 2011

William (Bill) Stephen Hart was called home on Saturday, April 9, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born September 8, 1919 to William L. Hart and Sarah Laura Parkin. Bill Hart grew up in Bountiful, Utah and was married to Lola Belle Thurgood November 28, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bill proudly served his country during World War II in the army. Bill was know as a hard worker, with blue eyes that sparkle and a smile that could light up the room. His life was centered around the great love he had for his family. He continually spoke of his loving wife, Lola that preceded him in death by 31 years, and was always beaming with pride over his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Bill also had a great passion for cars – – American made. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Algie and Alice, and wife Lola. Survived by brother Lowell Hart; children, Dennis, Elaine and Pam (Steve) Jordan; grandchildren, Laurie (Troy) Solomon, Stephanie (Dan) Dygert, Brittanie, and Kelsie (Greg) Madsen; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Lexie, Davis, Reagan, Libby, Jake, Hunter, Joe and Gatlin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Bountiful 10th Ward, 1145 North 200 East. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
