Wilma Robertson Fehmel 1915-2010
Wilma Robertson Fehmel died peacefully in her sleep the morning of February 3, 2010. She was born in Spanish Fork, UT May 31, 1915 to Joseph T. Robertson & Mattie Clark. She married Kurt Paul Fehmel on August 22, 1937 and on their 25th anniversary they were sealed in the Manti Temple. They had two children Marjorie Rowley and J. Paul Fehmel. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived most of her life in the Central Park Ward where she served in many different callings. She felt blessed during the last years of her life to live with the Joe and Debbie Hopper family who lovingly cared for her. She also found a special joy in the Hooper’s two dear grandsons Haden and Gavin Ferguson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and three younger brothers with two sister-in-law and two grandsons. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie, grandson Scott Fehmel along with six other grandchildren, 24 great-grand children, brother John C. Roberston Vesta, sister-in-law Donna Robertson, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Central Park Ward 300 East & 2700 South. A viewing will take place from 9:30-10:45 prior to the service.
