Biography

Wilson E. Stevens – born September 14, 1914 in Bloomington, Idaho and died October 10, 2014. Married Janice Jensen on December 5, 1939 in the Logan Temple. They later made their home in Rose Park. He worked as an engineer for Union Pacific, where he went by the nickname “Little Stevie”. Upon retiring, he and Janice served a mission in Nauvoo. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed dirt biking, hiking, hunting, and camping. Wilson and Janice traveled extensively.
Survived by Jim (Debbie) Stevens of Kaysville, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and sisters Mazie and Velma. Preceded in death by wife; son, Mike; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville 11th Ward, 500 S. Main. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St. and Thursday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery.
