Winifred Ruth Kipp

Winifred Ruth Kipp “Mimi” was born October 20, 1917 in Eaton, Colorado. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 5, 2015 at the age of 97.
Winifred was the daughter of Samuel and Anna Danielson. She married Robert Wayne Kipp on September 4, 1938 in Greeley, Colorado and was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
She leave behind 3 children: David Kipp, Jerry Kipp, Kathy Hascall; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother Samuel Danielson (Joan). Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 son-in-law and 1 grandson.
Mimi graduated from Greeley High School, and Colorado Women’s College. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many positions, including ward organist for 25 years. She loved music and playing the piano. She taught piano lessons in addition to working as a secretary in the St. Vrain Valley School District for 20 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, knitting, flowers and many friends. Mimi was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Pineae Gardens Ward Building, 690 North 400 West, Centerville, Utah. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
