Woodford Wilkerson Jones

Woodford Wilkerson Jones passed away Sept. 11, 2015.  Woody was born May 5, 1928 to Oren and Susan Jones in Lovell, Wyoming.  He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelor degree.  He married Vivian Gardner on May 29, 1953 in the Idaho Falls Temple.  They raised 4 children in Bountiful, Utah.  Woody worked for over 30 years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Information Technology.  He loved to fish, hunt and travel with his family.  He built his dream cabin in Star Valley, Wyoming where he loved to be.  He is survived by his 2 sisters Ruby and Harriett, wife Vivian, children Brad Jones (Neola), Cynthia Hepworth (Mark), Sharon DeHart, Tony Jones (Brandie), 13 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Pineae Gardens Ward House, 690 North 400 West, Centerville, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday morning 10:45-11:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment in the Afton Wyoming Cemetery.
