Zenna Leonard 1918-2004

Zenna Elizabeth DeFriez Leonard, was reunited with her beloved husband, Mack, on September 8, 2004.

She was born June 15, 1918, in Morhland, Utah, to Henry & Beatrice DeFriez. She married Joseph Mack Leonard on August 12, 1939 in San Bernadino, CA. Later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Zenna taught school in Carbon County. She was recognized as an accomplished cook and loved to entertain. As an active LDS member, she served in all the auxiliary organizations. She was a worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Zenna?s love and loyalty to her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends was an outstanding attribute which was greatly treasured by all who knew her. Zenna was a ?lady? in every way.

She is survived by her sons: Michael S. Donna Leonard and Gregory S. Josephine Leonard; a brother, Clark DeFriez; 7 grandchildren, Susan Amerson, Matthew Leonard, Stacey Gaultney, Scott Leonard, Lisa Stowe, Todd Leonard, and Elizabeth Howard; and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2004, at 12:00 noon, in the Brighton 4th Ward, 2327 E. Bengal Blvd. 7695 South.
